Winsen Electronics manufactures an air quality sensor and VOC sensor MQ138 for IAQ monitor applications.
The sensitive material of the MQ138 gas sensor is SnO2, which with lower conductivity in clean air. When VOC gas exists, the sensor’s conductivity increases, and the gas concentration rises. Users can convert the conductivity change to the corresponding output signal of gas concentration through a simple circuit.
Applications
It is widely used in domestic VOC gas alarms, industrial VOC gas leakage alarms, and portable VOC gas detectors.
