Perforations to prevent ballooning of Shrink Films

Pre Perforated Polyolefin Shrink Films are mainly used to prevent ballooning when sealing any kind of products. Ballooning happens when excess air is trapped inside the sealed shrink film after the seals have been made and heat is applied. It is hard to determine which products will balloon. If ballooning is experienced, small needle sized vent holes can be used to prevent future ballooning. We sell pre perforated shrink film rolls and bags to prevent ballooning.

Pre Perforated shrink films are of a new generation of shrink films. These are pre-perforated during production and specially designed to offer excellent air escapement and fast, dependable shrinkage without the “ballooning” or “dog ears” effect.
