The Stepper Motors can produce sound waves at certain frequencies, this effect is undesirable and if a 3D printer is made of sheet metal or wood this noise gets amplified. The damper has two sides: non-threaded holes for stepper motor mounting, and threaded mounting holes for the printer-side. This is a very good device to reduce the sound generated by your 3D printers.
